Content Curation & Archival Notice
Jibzee operates as both a digital streaming network and a curated media archive. To provide our members with a diverse, historically significant, and artistically rich library, our catalog balances proprietary original productions with carefully vetted independent films, open-distribution Creative Commons media, and preserved global public domain works. All materials are hosted in full compliance with international copyright standards.
1. Declaration of Compliance: Our streaming platform strictly operates in compliance with international copyright laws, including the United States Copyright Act and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We are dedicated to providing a legitimate, legally compliant distribution channel for independent creators, digital artists, and historical cinematic works.
All video content hosted, streamed, or previewed on this platform is distributed under verified legal frameworks, including explicit owner licensing, Creative Commons licensing architectures, or verified Public Domain status.
1. Original Works: Content created internally, owned exclusively by Jibzee, Inc., with all rights reserved.
2. Licensed Independent Media: Independent films and videos distributed under explicit, legally binding licensing agreements signed directly with the respective copyright owners or authorized distributors.
3. Creative Commons and Open Source Licensing: A significant portion of our library features creator-led independent films, sci-fi horror, animated horror, and dark fantasy content. This material is distributed in strict accordance with open-source and Creative Commons frameworks:
- CC-BY (Attribution): Content is distributed with full credit to the original creators, including links to their portfolios, profiles, or specified licensing terms.
- CC-BY-SA (Attribution-ShareAlike): Content distributed under this license is kept untouched, hosted in its original form, and any derivative trailers or promotional clips are shared back under the same identical licensing terms.
- We respect the immutable nature of Creative Commons licenses. Once a creator designates their work under a Creative Commons license, we honor that distribution right in perpetuity unless a verified ownership dispute arises.
4. Public Domain: Our platform archives and streams historical films that have entered the public domain. This includes cinematic works where the copyright has naturally expired, or where the original rights holders explicitly waived their rights. We conduct thorough due diligence to verify the public domain status of all archival media before making it accessible on our network.

5. DMCA Takedown Notifications: Jibzee respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, we have registered a Designated Copyright Agent with the United States Copyright Office.
If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent thereof and believe that your copyrighted work has been uploaded or displayed on our Platform without authorization in a manner that constitutes copyright infringement, please submit a written notification (“Takedown Notice”) to our Designated Copyright Agent containing the following information:

How to File a Takedown Notice:
To be legally effective under the DMCA, your notice must be sent in writing to dmca@jibzee.com and include the following information:
- Signature: A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of Work: Identification and a clear description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of Material: The specific URL, title, or location on our site of the material you want removed, with enough detail so we can find it.
- Contact Info: Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and an email address.
- Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy Statement: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Upon receipt of a valid and complete DMCA notice, Jibzee will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the contested material and will notify the user or content provider responsible for the upload.
Please note: Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages.
8. Content Modification and Integrity: To preserve the creative intent of our partner filmmakers, full-length movies are hosted and streamed completely untouched. Previews and promotional clips are extracted solely for the purpose of generating trailers to drive engagement to the content creators’ portfolios. No structural modifications are made to the core artistic media.
