“Tears of Steel” is a short sci-fi film about scientists and warriors using augmented reality to relive a pivotal moment in the past and prevent a future robot apocalypse. Set in a ruined Amsterdam, a team attempts to change a robot’s memory by reenacting the breakup between astronaut Thom and robotics engineer Celia. The film was created and produced by the Blender Institute.
