Dark Angel Fantasy
JIBZEE STREAMING, THE HOME OF DARK ANGEL FANTASY
For Fans of Supernatural, Lucifer, Legion and the Universe That Goes Deeper Than All of Them Including the Original Book Series: Brood of Angels
Jibzee Streaming, the dark genre entertainment platform redefining what streaming can be, today announced the official launch and expansion of its Dark Angel Fantasy programming vertical — a dedicated home for the audiences who made Supernatural a 15-season institution, turned Lucifer from a canceled network series into a Netflix global phenomenon, and have been waiting ever since for something that takes the mythology of dark angels, fallen celestials, and the war between heaven and darkness all the way to where it was always meant to go.
“Dark Angel Fantasy is not a subgenre. It is the oldest story ever told — the war between light and darkness, heaven and free will, the divine and the damned. Jibzee is where that story is finally told without compromise.”

What Is Dark Angel Fantasy — And Why Does It Matter?
Dark Angel Fantasy is the genre that lives at the intersection of the supernatural, the theological, and the mythological. It asks questions that no other genre dares to treat seriously: What if angels are not benevolent? What if Lucifer had a point? What if the war in heaven isn’t over — and humanity is the battlefield?
These are the questions that made Supernatural the longest-running American live-action fantasy series in television history — 15 seasons, 327 episodes, and a fandom that campaigned to bring it back even after it ended. They are the questions that turned Lucifer from a Fox procedural into a Netflix juggernaut, with Season 4 alone drawing over 15 million views in its first days on the platform. They are the questions that made the 2010 film Legion — flawed as critics found it — into a cult touchstone for a generation of dark fantasy fans who recognized that the premise was far bigger than any single film could contain.
These audiences have never stopped wanting more. What they have lacked is a platform that takes the genre as seriously as they do. That platform is Jibzee.
THE DARK ANGEL FANTASY LURE — WHY AUDIENCES KEEP COMING BACK
The enduring power of Dark Angel Fantasy lies in its theological daring. These stories give audiences permission to ask the questions polite society discourages: Is the divine truly benevolent? What does a war in heaven actually look like? What kind of being was Lucifer before the fall — and what does that make his children? What happens when angels choose sides that don’t align with heaven’s official position?
These are not frivolous questions. They are the oldest questions in human culture woven into the Book of Enoch, the Book of Revelation, Milton’s Paradise Lost, the apocryphal texts that never made it into the official canon. Dark Angel Fantasy takes these questions out of theology and into story, action, and moral complexity audiences can feel.
Supernatural proved the audience exists and is passionate beyond measure. Lucifer proved it transcends demographics. Legion proved the mythology works in any format. Brood of Angels proves there is an entire universe of original stories still waiting to be told — deeper, darker, and more mythologically rich than anything that has come before.
The flagship animated series, The Rebellion of Ravens, is currently in production and premiering on Jibzee in Winter 2026 — the first of multiple animated and live-action productions set in the Brood of Angels universe, culminating in a live-action flagship series designed to rival the scale and mythology of the finest prestige dark fantasy ever produced.
