The Story
In a time before the first king drew breath. Before the laws were written. Before men knew what it meant to choose between light and darkness, the greatest war the Norophim had ever known had already been fought and lost.
The fallen angel Lucifer, the most powerful and harrowing being ever to exist was not destroyed. He was imprisoned. Bound in a place no soul was meant to find, sealed by divine authority, and removed from the memory of the Norophim Realm, and only mentioned in whispers. The Norophim Realms exhaled. An age of uneasy peace settled over the land like ash after a fire — still warm, still dangerous, but quiet.
But Lucifer was not forgotten by everyone.
He left behind a brood. His children: the Dragons — ancient, wrathful, bound to his bloodline by fire and memory and the Brood of Ravens, the human half-blood children who carry both mortality and darkness in their veins. They have waited. They have grieved. And now, led by Lucifer’s youngest and most dangerous son, Mephistopheles, they have made a vow that will shake the foundations of the known world:
“They will find the prison. They will free their father. And heaven will burn before they stop.”
Standing between Mephistopheles and his conquest is the one force that sealed his father away to begin with, the Archangel Michael. Ancient. Implacable. Haunted by a choice that cost heaven everything. When word reaches Michael that the Brood of Ravens has begun its search, he knows what the Norophim Realms cannot yet comprehend: if Lucifer is freed, there is no second imprisonment. There is only annihilation.
